Microsoft has walked away from its Yahoo bid after Yahoo rejected an even higher bid this weekend. Yahoo officials reportedly high fived each other after hearing the news. I wonder how much high fiving will be going on today after Yahoo’s stock tanks.

First Microsoft sends another letter to Yahoo giving them three weeks to start talking or else…, and now Yahoo responds. This is getting good!

Remember last week when Microsoft proposed to Yahoo? Well, Yahoo yesterday said NO WAY. Microsoft has since responded and threatened to give Yahoo no peace until they consent. This could get interesting.

This has been in the rumor mill for months, but now it is official. Microsoft has just proposed a $44.6 Billion offer for Yahoo. Wow! Microsoft must have a lot of faith that this acquisition will make sense, because they are plunking down a hunk of cash for Yahoo!
P.S. If anyone is interested, IÂ would sell my business for…Â umm… Â just 1 billion.

This is very interesting. If you download Adobe Flash Player, they want to bundle Yahoo Toolbar with it. If you download Adobe Reader 8, they want to bundle Google Toolbar with it. Thanks, but no thanks. I don’t need two toolbars. In fact I don’t need any toolbars.

This morning I went to yahoo.com again to click on the ! some more.
I love doing that. However, when I opened up yahoo.com in my Internet Explorer 7 Beta it alerts me that…
“This website wants to run the following add-on: ‘TODO: <File Description>’: <Company name> (unverified publisher)’. If you trust the website and the add-on and want to allow it to run, click here….”
What’s going on here??? Is it a valid yahoo add-on?? or is it a IE 7.0 bug??

Microsoft has announced that Windows Live Messenger has been taken out of Beta. And guess what? It’s got a lot of neat features. Makes me wonder why it takes Google soo long to take products out of beta.
Some Windows Live Messenger Features:
- PC-to-PC Calling
- Telephone calling, too
- Even better video conversations
- Sharing Folders
- Text message their phones
- Your two-way, super-powered address book
- Windows Liveâ„¢ Alerts
- Soon: Talk to your Yahoo! friends, too
Ahhh… Talk to Yahoo! Friends. Soon.
