I told you all I would tell you about my camping trip, so here goes!! Kevin Sensenig took us to the Baltimore airport on Saturday Morning, August 13, 2005. We had some awesome flying weather. It was the first time flying for Lydell, and he was wishing it would have been bumpier, so that tells you it was really calm!! Anyway, Steve and Nelson met us at the Boise Airport and we went to Stennet Eberly’s place for the evening. On Sunday we went to Payette for church, and then went to Vern and Nolan’s place for lunch. Sunday Evening, Steve, Nelson, and I drove back to Cove, but Lydell and Ryan decided to stay with Stennet until Monday evening. Monday was a blast, we started the day with going to Denny’s for breakfast, and it was a long one!! (yes, guys can talk too ) The rest of the day was spent mostly in shopping for food, and packing everything up. What a mess!! And then, Tuesday Morning…..we were off…..
There was six of us that went camping, Steve Kropf, (who’s mind currently runs in only one track) Nelson Kauffman, Ryan Heller, Lydell Sensenig, Jeff Friesen, and myself. Jeff, by the way, is still in search of a lifelong companion. Interested??? You can check him out here…. Jeff Friesen haha!!! Anyway, we had a really good time in the woods, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, arguing, and talking!! Thats the life!! We even woke up with frost on our sleeping bags some of the mornings… brrrr.. that’s cold.. anyway, I go to get back to work. Later….

It’s an awesome feeling to be on the this side of the exam!! Now I can relax!! And believe it or not, as crazy as it sounds, I PASSED!! Yippee!! I’m now a Microsoft Certified Professional. Sounds good, but that’s about it, right??

This past Tuesday Night we again had our weekly Bible study with the children from the community. WOW!! The most stressful study yet. We had 28 children, and some of them would not cooperate at all. Ernest finally told two of the older girls they can’t come next time, cuz they were acting up soo bad and not listening. Hopefully, next time will go smoother. And by the way, this was our biggest attendance to date, 28 children!!

I still didn’t get a chance to tell you about my oregon trip. However I did upload a bunch of pictures for you all to look at. I have to take a computer certification test tomorrow morning so I’m frantically trying to get some studying done. I’ll let you know how I make out, but I have this eerie feeling it won’t be good.

Why is it that vacation time always goes so fast?? Anyway, I’m back alive and in one piece!! When I get a chance I’ll tell ya all what we did!! Kirby

Hurrah!! After today, its vacation time!! I got a few things ready last night, but I’ll probably do most of my packing tonight after work!! I’m one of those people who always wait until the last minute to get ready for a trip. Anyway, I’m really getting excited about this trip. I hope all goes well!!

I failed to elaborate much on my trip to Oregon, so I thought I’d better explain it a little. I have some friends out there in the La Grande area that I went to Pilgrim Mennonite Bible School with, and they invited me to come to their Annual Camping Trip!! I’m leaving on Saturday and coming back next Saturday (August 20). I understand we will take horses a couple miles back into the brush and stay in for several days! Sounds like fun to me!!

Is it bedtime yet?? I have not been doing very good at getting my sleep the last week. The majority of the nights have been LATE!! But it doesn’t really matter I guess, because Saturday I’m leaving for Oregon for a week long camping trip!! HURRAH!! No more work for a week!! I haven’t even started to pack yet, and the plane leaves Saturday!! Yikes.. better get busy….
