How comes I can’t put my Kirbtech logo along with my phone number on our wedding napkins?

Yea, and what’s so great about that? you ask. Well, I bought this cheap little 2001 Neon in September of 2004 and it had approximately 85,000 miles on it. Well, last night this little Neon drove its 180,000th mile. Yup, that’s right. 95,000 miles in a little over two years. I’ve definately got my money’s worth out of the thing that’s for sure. Anyway, this is what really tickles me. About a year ago I had a friend, who when he heard I had a Neon, laughed and stated, “you won’t get more than 100,000 miles out of that car.” At the time I already had more than that. <grin> This fellow, by the way, was a mechanic.

Heheh.. Seth Stoltzfus accuses this blog of being a pro Microsoft blog. (notice the blogroll on his site) I’m not sure what gave him that idea, but the more I think about it, the more I agree.
I’ll give you some reasons why I am pro Microsoft.
Windows XP SP 2, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Flight Simulator, Windows Live Onecare, Windows Defender, Virtual PC, Windows Vista, Windows Media Player, Windows Live Messenger, Windows Live Writer, Windows Server 2003, Microsoft Exchange Server, Windows Mobile, Internet Explorer 7, Visual Studio, Windows XP Tablet Edition, Windows Media Center 2005, Windows Desktop Search, Encarta, Streets and Trips, Microsoft Money, Microsoft Works, etc. etc. etc.
Just imagine if none of those products existed. Yes. I am pro Microsoft. (and also a Microsoft Pro)

By the way we got a lot of fish this last time we went deep sea fishing. Lots!! I got 13 myself. One of the crew thought we may have caught 250 fish. Whether he was actually telling the truth or just telling a big whopper is debatable, but we did catch a pile of fish. Here’s a picture of me with one of them. Kirb

Two deep sea fishing trips in one year!!! That’s way too cool!! Jerry Wile took a bunch of us Halteman Cousins on Labor Day, (I know, I know, this blog is way late.) We had some really nice sized waves, they were bigger than the last three time I’ve went deep sea fishing! I just love those big waves rocking the boat, but unfortunately some people didn’t appreciate it too well.
Anyway, I uploaded the pictures, and you can check them out here. Halteman Cousins Fishing Trip

Sorry… I’ve neglected this blog far too long. This past week has been crazy busy. I’ve been running all over the place on service calls, but that’s what I love doing best, so I’m not gonna complain. I don’t know why everybody has to call at once and want service calls. It seems like its always that way, one week its sooo slow, and the next… everyone wants you yesterday!!

As usual.. the weekend just isn’t long enough!!
Why is that?? It seems like I never get done everything I wanted to.. but anyway, it still was a good weekend. I went to a ball game on Saturday at Shepherd’s Fold, and then Sunday Evening Kevin, Lydell, and I went to Shade Mountain for church.
