Enough is Enough

Ok. That’s it. I have had enough of this iPhone talk!
P.S. Ohhh.. and it looks like I’m not the only one.
Apple releases Safari for Windows

Hmm.. Apple’s announcement to release the Safari browser for Windows wasn’t exactly what a lot of some people were hoping expecting to hear, and given the number of complaints and problems with installing and running Safari on Windows, I think I’ll stick with IE 7 and Firefox.
The Leopard is Pouncing Late

I’m sure by now you all have heard that Apple is pushing off the release of its next update of its Mac OS X software until fall. Heh. Microsoft isn’t the only one that delays its products.
Russell Shaw wonders if Apple is freaking out because the iPhone isn’t anywhere near to being ready. That’s an interesting thought. Maybe the iPhone isn’t so perfect after all?
Windows is the Most Secure OS

Slashdot is reporting that a Symantec Study has confirmed what we already knew, Microsoft’s Operating Systems are more secure than Mac OS X and Red Hat. “The report found that Microsoft Windows had the fewest number of patches and the shortest average patch development time of the five operating systems it monitored in the last six months of 2006.”
First the iPhone and now the zPhone. CrunchGear has a very interesting article about Microsoft’s rumored Zune Phone. Rumor has it that the zPhone could sport download speeds of up to 2Mbps! This would also allow you to share your songs with anyone else that has the zPhone. Wow! Another round of Microsoft versus Apple. This could get interesting. Ohh.. by the way, CrunchGear also got ahold of some “leaked” photos. :)
New Year, New Products

Wow. With the Consumer Electronics Show and the Macworld 2007 both in full swing, lots of new products are being demoed and released. Two notable ones that have caught my attention are Windows Home Server and the new Apple iPhone. Both products appear to be winners, although I haven’t quiet figured out what is so innovative about the Apple iPhone. I think its the slick interface, however Steve Jobs says they reinvented the phone. With the exception of not needing a stylus (which is pretty slick), it still looks a phone to me. ![]()
Microsoft virus scanning expert offers to help Steve Jobs

Microsoft’s main virus scanning expert Jonathan Poon says: “Steve, if you need someone to advise on how to improve your quality checks, feel free to contact me.”
I agree. Somewhere, someone at Apple messed up big time. I still think it’s funny that Apple uses Windows in the iPod manufactoring process. Hi.. I’m a PC. ![]()
Apple Blames Microsoft for Virus

The official Apple Website writes:
We recently discovered that a small number - less than 1% - of the Video iPods available for purchase after September 12, 2006, left our contract manufacturer carrying the Windows RavMonE.exe virus……………………As you might imagine, we are upset at Windows for not being more hardy against such viruses, and even more upset with ourselves for not catching it.
Paul Mooney says, “Oh, so they use a Windows OS PC to manufacture iPods, why not a Mac?” I couldn’t agree more. Hilarious. ![]()
Apple Mac to Support Windows XP
Filed Under (Uncategorized) by Kirby Witmer on 05-04-2006
Wow!! It’s finally come to pass. Apple has released a beta of a new utility called BootCamp which allows you to install Windows XP on an Intel-based Mac. It allows you to dual-boot either Mac OS X or Windows XP. I don’t have a Mac so I didn’t try it, but it sure has me interested. I may just have to buy a Mac.
