It seems like every time I log into Google Reader to check my feed subscriptions some company or another is getting swallowed up. What is up with this?

Google buys Feedburner and Panoramio and Greenborder.
Microsoft scoops up aQuantive Inc. and Tellme.
eBay buys StumbleUpon.
MySpace buys Photobucket.

Who’s next? Google buys Apple? Microsoft plunks down billions for Yahoo? eBay acquires Amazon? Verizon gobbles up Sprint Nextel? Ford takes a majority stake in GM? Kirbtech buys Dell Inc?

The official Google Blog is stating that they have just acquired Feedburner. I have found that Feedburner does an excellent job at managing my feeds. I guess we will see what all Google will do with the service. Perhaps AdSense in RSS feeds?
