Slashdot is reporting that a Symantec Study has confirmed what we already knew, Microsoft’s Operating Systems are more secure than Mac OS X and Red Hat. “The report found that Microsoft Windows had the fewest number of patches and the shortest average patch development time of the five operating systems it monitored in the last six months of 2006.”

    You also have to realize that slashdot is owned by linux.org, so that’s one of the reasons I found it so interesting that they reported that Microsoft’s Operating Systems are more secure. They are always posting about how superiour linux is over Windows and what do you expect coming from a linux organization?
