Scott Grieder, Ask.com Group Product Manager, was taking notes on an important conference call when his Google Pen ran out of ink without warning. The lapse in this fundamental Google product/service forced him to switch pens at a critical moment, resulting in considerable inconvenience and loss of data.
You gotta love the humor the guys at Ask have.

I’ve upgraded my desktop computer to Windows Vista and I’m loving it. The upgrade process took longer than I anticipated, but it was well worth the wait. There is a lot of little things here and there that just make using this new operating system enjoyable to use. For example, when I went to install my network HP Officejet printer, I told it to install a new printer, selected network printer and bingo, it discovered my printer and installed it! I didn’t have to tell it what IP address it was using or nothing. I know that’s a little thing, but its the little things that add up!
I haven’t even started to mention the tons of new and improved features that Vista brings. Once you upgrade to Vista, I highly doubt you will want to go back to XP.

Philipp reports that Google Webmaster Tools can now display a list of external websites that link to your website. I’ve tried to use link:kirb.com on Google already but that is almost a joke. This is really a nice feature as I can see how many backlinks I have and when Google last checked the page for the backlink.
